JohnnyTwoShoes Steam group

We've been playing Left4Dead alot the last few days, in the forum AnarchyDom made us realise that some JohnnyTwoShoes players will be playing too. For that reason we started the JohnnyTwoShoes group on Steam.

Left4Dead is great fun and can be pretty scary at times — it would be even better if the rest of the AI were real people. For that reason, we're going to organise some online co-op matches where we can play together.

The group is public so anyone with a SteamID can join. If it works out to be a successful idea, we could start to include other games too!

Konstrukt Beta is still running, however, there won't be any new invites for the current version of the game.

Next time we Beta a game (in the next few weeks) we will hopefully have a better system to request beta access.

Many players have asked why we choose some over others — It's simple, if you have shown that you enjoy JohnnyTwoShoes games by having an active account, we will consider you above other players.

If you didn't make it, good luck next time!

The forum is now open to all users. We plan on bringing a ton of features to the forum as JohnnyTwoShoes grows, right now we think it will be the best place to get to know each other and talk about what we all love — games!

Head over to the forum and introduce yourselves!

Here's a little sneak at the new Banana Dash game. It will have loads more puzzles, more interactive objects than the last games as well as a bunch of new characters to meet.

We know that World 3 was totally different to Worlds 1 and 2, we just like to experiment with ideas. World 4 takes things from all 3 games and wraps them up in an awesome underwater package. Hope you like the video!

First of all, apologies about the poor quality video. I take all the blame for that! It is, after all, the first public appearance of HighSpeedChase on the iPhone!

It will be released on the app store (once it's approved by Apple and once we finish it off) for 59p (that's just $1). Finally, a game that's awesome, cheap and actually fun to play anywhere you are.

It runs on both iPod Touch and iPhone — Features —

Vibration on crash

In-game 100% accelerometer controlled

Updated graphics

Upgrade levels

Police chases

Scoreboards

Portable awesome fun

Ridiculous low credit-crunch price

iPhone Development Diary Part 1

We've got a few big projects on at the moment but today we managed to make excellent progress on HighSpeedChase for iPhone (and iPod Touch).

Above is actual gameplay footage from the game running on a 16GB iPhone. The graphics are temporary as they've been "borrowed" from The Heist for now while we focus on gameplay. What I can say right now is that the game runs amazingly quick without the slightest hint of a frame drop!

Of course, we're still in the development stages of the game but it's a very exciting time at JohnnyTwoShoes. The iPhone shows us so much promise as a valid gaming platform and we assure you, we're not stopping here either. We plan to continue testing and developing for new (and current) hardware technologies in the future! Stay tuned.

HighSpeedChase Announced for iPhone

Today we're officially announcing HighSpeedChase for the iPhone, we've been developing it in the background for the last few weeks. It's slated for release before Christmas 2008.

HighSpeedChase iPhone will be very pick-up-and-play so you can get into the game anywhere you have a few minutes spare. It's not HighSpeedChase 2, more like HighSpeedChase 1.5, there will also be unlockable items and difficulty levels to play through.

Any questions or comments, feel free!
